Who runs it
OpenSea interviewed founder Tuomas Holmberg in October 2025 about how the platform vaults, mints and trades cards. Its packs are also sold through Jupiter, a large Solana trading app, which documents the buyback terms.
Where the cards are
Collector Crypt says cards go to secured vaults including PSA, PWCC and ALT, where they're stored and insured, then linked to your wallet as a token. You can redeem the physical card or keep it on-chain.
How the buyback works
Jupiter's docs put the instant buyback at 85% to 93% of insured value, set per pack and paid in USDC, and say it closes 3 days after the pull. Each machine lists a value range and percentage chance per rarity tier before you pull.
What to weigh
You're relying on a crypto wallet, a stablecoin and the platform's insured-value estimate. Lose wallet access and the card goes with it. Packs are random, and a pull worth less than the price is the ordinary outcome, so set a budget first.
We haven't audited its vault holdings or how it sets insured value.
