Behind every rating
How we review, in three steps.
What We Check
We read each platform's own help pages, terms and reputable coverage, then record what it publicly discloses: odds tables, buyback rules, shipping and redemption, grading and fees. Every fact links to its source.
How Buyback Terms Differ
Some platforms offer to buy a pulled card back, but the basis differs: a share of the card's estimated value, a minimum tied to the pack price, or nothing at all. Read the exact terms and the offer window before you buy.
Mystery Box Red Flags
Be cautious with sellers that hide odds, use stock photos of chase cards, promise “guaranteed hits” without defining a hit, or offer no buyback or refund policy. Searched and resealed packs are a known risk in unverified marketplace listings.
Learn before you rip
Guides and head-to-heads.
Are Pokémon mystery packs worth it compared with boosters?
A Pokémon mystery pack is worth considering only after you can assess its contents, price and selection rules. A 'guaranteed hit' isn't a guaranteed cash return, and a third-party mystery pack isn't an official booster.
What are the chances of a chase after 10, 50 or 100 packs?
For independent openings with the same chase probability p, the chance of at least one hit in n openings is 1 − (1 − p)^n. It does not make a hit certain or improve the next opening after a miss.
